Law-enforcement agencies try to prevent exotic business

While male migrants from Central Asia are involved in common labour or trucking, their wives and kids are cadging in the streets of Nazran.  They do their best to earn a profit: pretend to be mad, or beg and curse people who do not give them cash.. 

Officers of the Department of the Federal Migration Service for Ingushetia try to prevent their fruitful business. They perform regular raids, record offences and takes cases to a court. Many foreigners brought to the DFMS have no documents and pretend not to speak Russian. In most cases they are deported.

This year 5,000 foreigners have crossed Ingushetia's borders, most of them are illegal migrants. They do not commit serious crimes. However, they involve minors in begging
