Wild dances

VK wrote about the idea to give rules to the young men from the North Caucasus planning to leave their republics (http://www.vestikavkaza.ru/articles/obshestvo/molod/25339.html) "Young people come to the Stavropol region to take a holiday and try to demonstrate their traditions not really caring what people around think," a representative of the president's envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District said. He was puzzled, but nobody spoke about any punishment for these people. But a few days ago the chancellor of the Pyatigorsk State technological University signed an order to expel 5 students of the university who danced in front of the administration of Pyatigorsk on the 13th of October.
As the municipal administration said, "on the square in front of the building of the municipal administration a dozen young men were dancing the lezginka and swearing." It did not last for a long time. When the police arrived, the dancers had already left the place. However, in the evening the same people came to the square again and started dancing, swearing and offending passers-by. The police arrested 5 men - residents of Chechnya and first year students of the PSTU. They were brought to administrative responsibility as they had violated paragraph 20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. Four of them were 17-years-old. Their cases were sent to their place of registration. The one student of majority age was arrested for 24 hours.
"It is not the first time this has happened here. There are many more fans of 'wild dances' in the republic," according to the deputy chief of police in Pyatigorsk, Viktor Firsenko. The case was examined at a meeting in which all chancellors of the city universities participated. It was decided to start informing the students that violators of the law would be punished, and even expelled. "Pyatigorsk is a multi-ethnic city, and we have lots of guests traditionally. But there is a common rule: if you come to a city you have to follow its law and order," Firsenko said.

As a result, on the orders of the Chancellor Andrei Kaznacheyev, Ruslan Hubiyev, Ruslan Krymov, Ibrahim Yusupov, Igor Omarov and Husein Shebiyev have been expelled from the university. "I don't think too strict. It is a normal reaction by the university administration to violations by students," Kaznacheyev said.
