CSKA managed to end the Champions League game with Madrid Real in a draw with a score of 1:1.  However, to tell you the truth, Madrid looked better than the Moscow club in all regards, and the draw should be regarded as a gift of fate. CSKA managed to even the score only during the last minute of the additional time.

After the game Real’s coach Jose Mourinho hinted that their opponents didn’t really deserve a draw, even though in a civil manner, saying that they didn’t put much effort into scoring. In his opinion, the CSKA’s score was made with certain violations of rules and the referee made a mistake by counting the goal. The coach, however, also mentioned that his team had a chance to score one more ball but missed this opportunity.

The score was opened in the first time by Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, who succeeded not without the help of CSKA’s halfbacks mistake. The return ball was scored by Swedish player Pontus Wernbloom, who gave the team a chance to fight for the participation in the next stage of the Championship.

The return game will take place on March, 14 in Madrid, and Moscow team will have to score in order to continue its participation in the tournament.

Another game of the Champions League ended in the victory of Italian Napoli FC over Chelsea with a score 3:1.

Another Russian team that took part in the last 16 of the Champions League, Zenit FC, won their game with Portugal's Benfica, 3:2, and the return game is scheduled for March, 6.
