The match for the Russian Super Cup 2013 will be held on July 13 in Rostov-on-Don. The stadium "Olympus 2" will see the Champion of Russia of the season 2012-2013, CSKA Moscow, play against the silver medalist FC "Zenit".

In fact, this is one of our best teams in the Russian championship.”
According to Pryadkin, since 2011, the Russian Super Cup matches, according to the policy pursued by the Russian Football Union, the Russian Premier League, and the Ministry of Sport, are held in different cities of Russia to popularize the sport, improve local sports infrastructure, and increase spectators' interest. “In 2013, the Russian Super Cup will be played for the 11th time. As you know, in 2010 Rostov has already hosted one of the great events, the final of the Cup of Russia. Then fight for the trophy between "Zenit" and "Siberia." The team from St. Petersburg won then. The fact that the city authorities, regional authorities, football community, and the football club "Rostov" have done so much for the last match, they have once again proven the fact that this region, the Rostov region, the city of Rostov certainly can host any tournament. Which, by the way, is underlined by the fact that Rostov-on-Don has been selected as one of the cities for the World Cup 2018.”
