Alan Dzagoyev may join Chelsea

If Chelsea manages to hire Dzagoyev he will become the second Russian
and former Armenian at the London club, the first being Yuri Zhirkov.
Specialists believe that Chelsea's coach Carlo Ancelotti plans to
replace Frank Lampard with Alan Dzagoyev. 20 year-old Dzagoyev would
become a good prospect for the team.

Dzagoyev played 91 matches for CSKA and scored 29 goals. He played 8
games for the Russian national team. He took part in the qualifying
match of World Cup 2010 against the German national team.

Guus Hiddink, the former main coach of the Russian national team,
recommended that Chelsea's owner Roman Abramovich hire the CSKA
halfback before the price rose. Dzagoyev could have been hired for £6
million. The price he could demand today is unknown.

Last week Liverpool expressed interest in CSKA halfback Keisuke Honda.
They were reported to be planning to hire him using the funds they
received for selling Javier Mascherano to Barcelona.
