Turkish Energy Minister Fatih Donmez visited the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant construction site in Mersin, the press service of the ministry reports.
In addition, Donmez held a meeting with Rosatom's Director General Alexei Likhachev in narrow and extended formats. The parties discussed the construction of a nuclear power plant and the launch of the first reactor.
During the research, it was found that the plant, which is currently under construction, was not damaged by a major earthquake.
