In 24 hours, most COVID-19 cases are detected in Moscow - 2,056, in St. Petersburg there are 1,499 cases, in the Moscow region - 263. Doctors in the Krasnodar Territory diagnosed 215 residents with coronavirus, 296 people fell ill in the Stavropol Territory, 67 in Crimea. There are three people infected in Chechnya, in North Ossetia - 10, in Ingushetia - two.
8,936 people in Russia recovered in 24 hours, while 21,677,256 patients coped with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
840 patients were admitted to the hospitals. The rest of the infected are being treated at home.
The number of deaths from coronavirus increased and amounted to 43 people in 24 hours. This level of deaths was last recorded almost a month ago, on February 8. In total, 396,298 patients died in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic, while the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country is 22,342,128.
