Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates doubled their trade turnover last year, Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Muhammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan said during a telephone call, the press service of the President of the Republic reports.
The leaders also discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in trade, green energy, agriculture, transport, etc.
It was noted that in 2022 the volume of mutual trade between Uzbekistan and the UAE doubled with more than 200 joint ventures operating in the republic. Mirziyoyev also stressed that the portfolio of projects reached $3 billion.
In conclusion, Mirziyoyev and Zayed al-Nahyan agreed on further cooperation in the implementation of joint projects in various fields.
