As a result of the meeting of the Minister of Economy of Uzbekistan with Vagit Alekperov, Uzbekistan, and Russia's Lukoil decided to work on improvement of the projects' efficiency.
On Friday, Minister of Economy of Uzbekistan Sherzod Kudbiev held talks with representatives of the Russian Lukoil, as well as the head of the committee on energy policy of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Vagit Alekperov, the press service of the Ministry reports.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the development of bilateral cooperation and strengthen measures to improve the efficiency of existing projects.
The issue of ensuring uninterrupted demand for gas, the creation of the necessary competitive environment in the energy sector, based on international experience, was also discussed during the meeting.
