A 4.1-magnitude earthquake shook central Turkey early on Wednesday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The earthquake's epicenter was located some 74 kilometers west of the city of Kahramanmaras and 9 kilometers from the city of Osmaniye, with a shallow depth of 5.0 kilometers. No casualties or significant damages have been reported so far.

A little over a month ago, two twin quakes of 7.8- and 7.5-magnitude struck the country, killing over 55 thousand people in the region.
