The participation of Dagestan in the Moscow international tourist exhibition MITT turned out to be fruitful. The stand of the republic won two awards, several agreements were signed with other regions of Russia.
The advantages of the Dagestan stand were recognized at the MITT tourism exhibition, which ended today in Moscow, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic reports.
The awards ceremony was held on the final day of the exhibition. Dagestan was recognized as the best for the most colorful and active stand, TASS reports.
Throughout the exhibition, everyone at the Dagestan stand could take part in a cultural and entertainment program, which included master classes in traditional arts and crafts.
In addition, hotel owners and tour operators told the visitors of the exhibition about the most interesting tourist routes. A pleasant surprise was the drawing of certificates for a tourist trip to the republic.
Agreements
During MITT-2023, representatives of Dagestan signed agreements on cooperation in the field of tourism with several regions of Russia, including Kamchatka, Tatarstan, as well as the Tyumen, Kursk, Ulyanovsk and Zaporozhye regions.
Another agreement – on a strategic partnership – was reached with the carrier Nordwind. Within the framework of the agreement, interaction will be established for the promotion of tourism products and training.
About MITT-2023
The International Exhibition of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, MITT, began on March 16 and lasted three days. The event was held at the Crocus-Expo exhibition center in Moscow.
