In January-February of this year, Azerbaijan exported almost 16.5 thousand tons of fruit crops, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reports.
It is noted that the export of apples, pears, quince and other crops doubled, compared with last year's figures. The Ministry estimated the total value of exports at $10,6 million.
Earlier, the Federal Customs Service spoke about the imminent appearance of the Khudat food hub on the territory of Azerbaijan, and it is planned to build a special Russian customs body there.
The project to build a hub in Azerbaijan is actively developing today. In addition to this, it involves providing Russia with agricultural products.
