Türkiye to rebuild destroyed cities

During the year, up to 320,000 houses will be built in areas affected by the February earthquake. In total, it is planned to build up to 650,000 residential buildings.

The Turkish authorities are working hard to eliminate the February earthquakes consequences, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said.

According to him, this year it is planned to build about 320,000 residential buildings. In total, nearly 650,000 residential buildings will be built in the south and southeast of the country.

“We strive to return people to their homes as soon as possible, so they can heal their wounds,”

- the vice president of the country said.

The politician also drew attention to the fact that the most difficult period is over.

“Today, we are at the second stage. We have temporarily accommodated approximately 3 mn of our citizens, including in tent and modular camps,"

-he noted.
