The foreign ministers of Russia and Türkiye will discuss the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant, the grain deal, the Ukrainian, and Syrian crises, as well as the situation in the South Caucasus.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation revealed what issues will be discussed by the Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation and Türkiye, Sergey Lavrov and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, during a meeting in Ankara.
According to a statement from the Russian ministry, the heads of the two diplomatic departments will discuss joint work on the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant and the exploitation of the Turkish Stream.
In addition, Lavrov and Cavusoglu will discuss bilateral economic cooperation and its expansion, as well as partnership in the energy sector. It is planned to consider the security of Russian citizens in the Republic of Türkiye.
The ministers will also discuss the Ukrainian and Syrian crises, the situation in the Middle East, the South Caucasus and Africa.
