Tonight, Georgian priests and pilgrims will bring the Holy Fire, which descended this afternoon in Jerusalem in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The Holy Fire will be transported from Jerusalem to Tbilisi by a special flight organized by the Georgian Orthodox Church.
The Holy Fire, which descended today in Jerusalem in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, will be delievered to Georgia two hours before the Easter. Georgian Orthodox priests and pilgrims participated in the ceremony of the descent of the Holy Fire, along with other Christian clergy and believers.
The Georgian Orthodox Church organised a special flight for the Holy Fire transportation. The citizens of Georgia who participated in the ceremony will bring it to the country.
According to the schedule, a special flight with the Holy Fire will land at Tbilisi airport at 22:00. From there, the Holy Fire will be distributed to all Georgian churches.
