As a result of a mine explosion in Karabakh, three servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were injured. They were provided with medical assistance. The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center were informed on the incident.
Three Azerbaijani servicemen were injured in a mine explosion in Karabakh. The victims were in a military truck transporting supplies to the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic informs.
“On April 22, at 17:00 [16:00 Moscow time], a military truck of the Azerbaijani army, transporting supplies to the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, located on the heights around the village of Allahgulular (Shusha district), exploded on a mine laid by the Armenians on the roadway. As a result, the driver of the car and one soldier were injured. <...> One of the servicemen who immediately came to assist the victims was also injured due to the explosion of the anti-personnel mine,”
- the message of the Azerbaijani defense department reads. It is specified that the wounded were provided with medical assistance at the scene of the emergency.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the fact of the incident was reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center.
