The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan said that the military parade dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day on May 7 and Victory Day on May 9 would not be held due to cost savings.
According to the Kazakh Defense Ministry, holding a military parade is not planned due to budget savings, as well as due to the need to solve other problems.
"The priority is to maintain the required level of combat readiness and mobility of the units of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan," the statement reads.
The ministry noted that military events are planned and will be held for the upcoming holidays, including honoring especially distinguished servicemen.
