Almost 100 trucks stuck due to bad weather on border with Kazakhstan

Today, large vehicles are stuck in a traffic jam near the Karauzek automobile checkpoint, located in the Astrakhan region. This was reported by the press service of the regional governor on May 24.

According to the latest information, 100 trucks are currently waiting to cross the Russian-Kazakh border.

"Due to the flood in the Ural part of Kazakhstan, the Atyrau-Uralsk highway and checkpoints in the Saratov and Samara regions were flooded. According to truck drivers, logisticians are directing them to the Astrakhan checkpoint Karauzek to cross the border",

the Governor's press service said.

The press service also said that a separate queue had been organized for passenger cars.
