The first freight train from the Republic of Azerbaijan arrived at the updated Baku-Tbilisi-Kars route in Türkiye.
Today, for the first time after a renovation, a train from Azerbaijan arrived in Türkiye on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the Azerbaijani state news agency AZERTAC informs.
The train arrived in Kars at about 5 am. After completing customs inspection, it followed to the logistics center.
20 containers with over 600 tons of plastic raw materials arrived in Türkiye.
The renovation work on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars route was completed on May 20.
