Two Russian universities to open branches in Uzbekistan

Bauman Moscow State Technical University and All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade will open branches in Uzbekistan. This information became known following negotiations between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent.

"An agreement has been reached on opening branches of the Bauman Moscow Technical University and the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade in Uzbekistan",

the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.

Today, 14 Russian universities have branches in Uzbekistan, including Moscow State University and MGIMO. Russian education attracts the youth of Uzbekistan. Students also come to the Russian Federation for higher education. 14 thousand Uzbek students study in Russia for free.
