In the vicinity of Mozdok, a child fell into the Terek. Rescuers consider him dead. The search for the body continues for the second day.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania continues search for a 14-year-old boy who fell into the Terek yesterday. The tragedy occurred in the village of Vinogradnoye in the vicinity of Mozdok; representatives of the ministry consider him dead.
“In search of a drowned 14-year-old teenager, rescuers of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations rafted along the river bed on a catamaran. Also, patrolling the river banks by firefighters of the Mozdok fire and rescue garrison, rescuers of the North Ossetian Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, as well as volunteers continues,”

A friend who was playing with the deceased tried to save him, but he was dragged down the river by the current.
