Erdoğan: new generations to have environmentally friendly country

Environmental issues come first in the Republic of Türkiye, and the country's authorities are doing everything possible to protect the environment and leave it that way for future generations. It has been said in a publication by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, posted in connection with the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought on June 17 on one of the social networks.

"Over the last 21 years alone, 7 billion seedlings have been planted in the country. Decisive steps to protect the environment will continue",

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said.

The country's particular attention is paid to another pressing environmental problem - soil erosion. Turkish specialists are fighting this everywhere and have already established an international exchange of experience on this issue, the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry reported, AZERTAC reports.
