U.S. President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will participate in the first presidential debate of the 2024 election on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET (04:00 Moscow time).
The debate will be the first time either candidate has been on a debate stage since 2020. The event hosted by CNN will last 90 minutes.
Trump will get the final word of the night, while Biden got to choose whether he wanted the podium on the right or left side. Their microphones will be muted except when it's their turn to speak.
A few possible topics are: border security, immigration and the economy.
