This afternoon, heat and strong winds led to a fire in the Maykop suburb: for an unknown reason, the grass on the Gaverdovsky farm flamed out, and a residential building caught fire from it. The mayor of Maykop called on Maykop residents and guests of the city not to violate fire safety standards.
Today, in the Gaverdovsky farm located near Maykop, a house, neighboring technical buildings and adjacent land caught fire. The fire spread to an area of almost 0.1 hectares and was considered serious: Maykop mayor Gennady Mitrofanov personally controls its extinguishing.
Adygea rescuers do not clarify the cause of the fire and the order of its spread: whether the roof of a residential building, outbuildings, or the grass in the local area caught the fire first. It is only known that no one was injured as a result of the fire.
