The first Islamic finance office was opened in the North Caucasus Federal District by Sberbank in the capital of Chechnya, Grozny.
Islamic finance services can now be obtained in Chechnya: an Islamic finance office has been opened in Grozny, the press service of the Southwest Bank of Sberbank informs.
The organization will be the first in the North Caucasus providing Islamic banking services.
The office will offer over 15 financing products based on partnership principles and meeting Shariah standards.
According to the head of Southwest Bank, Islamic finance is now experiencing rapid growth.
