An earthquake was registered in the Caspian Sea, according to the Azerbaijan Seismological Service reports.
Seismic activity was registered at 11 am. Instruments recorded a magnitude of 3.1. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 74 km.
No reports of damage or casualties have been received.
This follows a more powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 that struck Türkiye's Balıkesir province on August 10, resulting in structural damage and one fatality.
