Ankara ready to take on more responsibility for Ukrainian settlement

The Turkish Security Council discussed issues related to the Ukrainian settlement during its latest meeting on Tuesday.

Türkiye is ready to play an even greater role in the Ukrainian settlement, a statement issued by the Security Council following the meeting on September 30 reads.

The meeting was chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The meeting participants expressed concern about incidents that indicate the risk of conflict escalation. In this regard, they emphasized Türkiye's readiness to assume even greater responsibility for resolution.
