The Palestinian authorities plan to begin clearing rubble and reopening transportation links. Temporary shelters are planned to be built.

Palestinian authorities also intend to hold a conference in Cairo to secure financial assistance. The financial support is expected to cover approximately 3,500 projects for the enclave's reconstruction.
