Red Crescent helicopter crashes in Iran

A rescue helicopter crashed in Iran's Lorestan Province, the Iranian Red Crescent Society said.

The helicopter belonged to the Iranian Red Crescent Society in Kermanshah province and had been sent to rescue a climber, a lost woman, who had asked for help in a mountainous area in Azna County in Lorestan Province on October 3.

The copter was trying to land in the area when it crashed, killing two people on board and injuring some members of the rescue team.

Four crew members and five members of rescue team were on board the chopper.
