On Wednesday, October 8, Israeli and Kazakh Foreign Ministers Gideon Sa'ar and Yermek Kosherbayev held a phone conversation, a statement published on the Israeli minister's social media pages reads.
During the conversation, the Israeli Foreign Minister congratulated Kosherbayev on his appointment. He also expressed hope for further strengthening ties between the two countries.
The two foreign ministers also discussed current developments in the region, including the ongoing Gaza negotiations in Egypt and the implementation of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's peace plan.
