The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has vowed a “fitting and decisive” response to perpetrators of a terrorist attack in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, which killed several Sunni tribal leaders.
The Quds Headquarters of the IRGC strongly condemned the recent crime.
"The perpetrators and masterminds of these crimes will soon be punished for their disgraceful actions and the powerful security and military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will decisively give a fitting response to these brutal acts,” the statement reads.
It added that enemies are carrying out such “blind and unfair” measures to disrupt national unity and peaceful coexistence among brave Iranians in the southeastern parts of the country.
The IRGC said such crimes will never disrupt the exemplary unity among Shia and Sunni Muslims in Sistan and Baluchestan.
