The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in Brussels on October 24, 2025, according to the presidential administration's official announcement.
Mirziyoyev's agenda includes meetings with European Council President António Costa, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and King Philippe of Belgium.
The visit will feature the signing of an Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the EU. Uzbekistan is also scheduled to participate in a roundtable discussion on economic issues with representatives of EU financial institutions and companies.
