Iran’s foreign trade in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year has reached 131.054 million tons, valued at $76.537 billion, according to the latest data from Iran's Customs Administration.
This figure represents a 9.38% decrease in value compared to the same period last year, while the volume of trade increased by 1.53%.
During this timeframe, Iran exported 105.231 million tons of goods worth $36.997 billion. This reflects a 1.17% increase in weight but a 3.48% decline in value compared to the previous year.
In contrast, imports totaled 25.823 million tons, valued at $39.540 billion, showing a 3% increase in weight but a significant 14.29% decrease in value.
