Azerbaijan clears over 5,000 hectares of mines in one month

In December 2025, a total of 5,098.7 hectares were cleared in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions, according to the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

During this time, deminers discovered and cleared 4,169 mines and unexploded ordnance.

4.4 hectares were cleared in the Gazakh district during the same period, ANAMA reported.

Previously, ANAMA specialists cleared 69,205.7 hectares of land last year.
