Internet service has been partially restored in the Islamic Republic of Iran, with local media reporting that some subscribers have regained their digital connection.

The end of unrest has made it possible to restore internet service in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The local media report that some subscribers of Iranian internet service providers have regained their connection to the global internet.

It is emphasized that the authorities were able to halt the escalation of unrest a week ago thanks to the complete shutdown of digital communications in the country, as provocateurs were deprived of the means to coordinate their illegal actions.

However, it is not specified which internet service providers' customers have had their internet service restored.

The internet service in Iran has been down since January 8.
