Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani warned that Tehran would target U.S. embassies in the Middle East if the United States attacks Iran.
The secretary contacted officials in regional countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE on this issue last week.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said he planned to speak with Iran, even as he sent another warship to the Middle East and the Pentagon chief said the military would be ready to carry out whatever the president decided.
