Iranian media names targets of Israeli strikes on Tehran

The U.S. and Israel launched an attack Saturday on Iran, with the first apparent strike happening near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Apart from the Supreme Leader’s office, the missiles targeted several locations across central and eastern Tehran, with key targets including the Ministry of Intelligence, the Ministry of Defence, the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency, and the Parchin military complex.

Tehran officials responded sharply, saying their "response will be crushing" for Israel and the US.

The IDF operation was codenamed “Lion’s Roar.” June’s 12-day operation against the Islamic Republic was named “Rising Lion.”
