Iranian General Staff rejects launching drones toward Azerbaijan

Iran's Armed Forces General Staff has rejected reports that Iranian forces launched drones toward Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran respects the sovereignty of all countries, particularly Muslim and neighboring nations, and categorically rejects any drone launch by Iranian armed forces toward Azerbaijan," the General Staff said.

The statement added that such actions have precedent as part of efforts by Israel to disrupt relations between Baku and Tehran.
