Iran rejects initiatives for a mediated ceasefire and sets its own conditions for resuming talks with the United States, Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen reported.

The leadership of the Islamic Republic rejects the current proposals of the mediators, considering them insufficient, and insists on more specific obligations.

In particular, Tehran demands from Washington guarantees of non-aggression in the future, compensation payments, and an agreement that Iran will be able to carry out a full nuclear fuel cycle at its nuclear power plants.

The U.S. and Israel launched attacks on Iran on February 28, and Iran swiftly responded with strikes across the region.
