13 participants of the protest action Freedom to Political Prisoners have been detained in Yerevan. Dissatisfaction of police officers was caused by the fact that protesters tied themselves with a rope to the fence of the National Assembly.
The lawyer of one of the activists, Ara Karagezyan, said that Karpis Pashoyan, Mikael Nazarian, Tigran Mazmanian, Vahe Gevorgyan, Artak Gevorgyan, Lusine Hayrapetyan, Herbert Gevorgyan, Ashot Khachatryan, Sipan Pashinyan and another four opposition members were detained.
Law enforcement officials assured that the detainees will be released after three hours, News.am reports.
