13 sets of medals to be played for on second day of First European Games

Today the First European Games in Baku will host competitions in mountain biking, triathlon, karate, Greco-Roman wrestling, synchronized swimming, table tennis, water polo and volleyball.

13 sets of medals will be played for on the second day of the First European Games – three in karate among men, three in karate among women, four in Greco-Roman wrestling among men, one in cycling among women, one in cycling among men and one in triathlon among women.

The competition in women's mountain biking will start at 11:00 (MSK). The men's competition in this discipline will start at 14:30 (MSK). Six awards in karate will also be fought for. The International Federation of Karate  very responsibly petitioned for their sport to be included in the program of the European Games. Both competition days will be preceded by specially prepared videos explaining the rules and characteristics, which are different from taekwondo.

In addition, during y second day a group stage of the European Games will start in the women's volleyball competition. Today are playing: Serbia - Croatia, Italy - Belgium, Germany - Bulgaria, Azerbaijan - Romania, Netherlands - Russia, Poland - Turkey. Also today there will be qualifying competitions in synchronized swimming.
