16 European countries to receive Azerbaijani gas

In 2026, Azerbaijan will increase gas supplies to Europe, beginning exports to two more countries, the Azerbaijani leader announced.

By the end of 2025, Azerbaijan supplied gas to 14 European countries; this year, the list will expand to 16, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev informed.

"Our gas exports are growing both in volume and geographic reach. We currently supply gas to 14 countries, 11 of which on a regular basis,”

– Ilham Aliyev said.

He clarified that overall, the geographic reach of Azerbaijani pipeline gas reached 14 countries by the end of 2025.
