Georgian police detained 16 opposition activists who tried to block Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, according to Georgian media.
The activists were protesting the decisions of the temporary parliamentary investigative commission, which had previously declared the 2003 Rose Revolution - led by former President Mikheil Saakashvili - a "coup d'état".
Reports indicate 4 of the 16 detainees were women. No details regarding their condition or potential legal measures have been disclosed.
