1st Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships kicks off in Moscow

The opening ceremony of the first-ever Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships started at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace in Moscow's Luzhniki, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.

The qualifying competitions in rope and ball individual and group routines were held in the morning and in the afternoon.

The 1st FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships is being held at Luzhniki Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace in Moscow. The gymnasts will compete in individual program and in group exercises. In total, the gymnasts will compete for 8 medal sets. The 2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships will be held in Baku on September 16-22, 2019.
