2.2 magnitude earthquake hits Armenian Spitak town

The Seismic Protection Service of Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations recorded a magnitude 2.2 earthquake near Armenian Spitak town at 1:01 am local time on Saturday, News.am reports.

The epicenter lies 3 km northeast of Spitak town at the depth of 10 km. The quake was also felt in the Spitak town with magnitude 2-3.
