2017 has been declared as the Year of Ecology in Russia. The corresponding decree by President Vladimir Putin was published today on the portal of legal information, Gazeta.ru reports.
It is known that the head of the presidential administration Sergei Ivanov will chair the organizing committee, which is to work out a list of the main events during the next year.
