The 22nd Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships have started at the Baku Gymnastics School. 36 gymnasts from the Baku Gymnastics School, the Neftchi sports club and the sports school of the Nizami district will compete.
The members of the Azerbaijani acrobatics team, Lala Huseynova, Aynur Huseynova and Narmin Ramazanova, will also perform.
"We can say that we have world class athletes, most of them represent the Baku Gymnastic School. This is our trio who represented Azerbaijan at the European Games in the men's team. The athletes are very artistic. I highly appreciate their performance and composition. Our mixed couples are also very promising. I think they have a great future," Trend cited the director of the Baku Gymnastic School, Adil Guseynzade, as saying.
The final competitions are scheduled for tomorrow.
