26 sets of medals to be played for on sixteenth day of First European Games

Today in Baku the sixteenth day of the European Games has started, during which competitions will be held in badminton, beach soccer, boxing, fencing, judo, swimming and volleyball.

On the sixteenth day of the European Games, the athletes will contend for 26 medal sets: two sets in badminton (among men's and women's doubles), three sets in fencing (women's team sabre, men's foil and men's epee), eleven sets in swimming (50m and 200m freestyle, 100m breaststroke, 100m butterfly, 400m medley, 4x100m freestyle relay among men, 50m and 200m butterfly, 100 m backstroke, 100 m breaststroke and 4x200m freestyle relay among women), five sets in boxing (men's up to 60 kg, up to 69 kg, up to 75 kg, up to 91 kg, and women's 57-60 kg), four sets in judo (men's up to 90 kg, up to 100 kg and over 100 kg, women's up to 78 kg and over 78 kg).

The final rounds in women's volleyball teams will be held today, where Turkey will meet Poland and Azerbaijan will play with Serbia for the bronze medal. Russia and Portugal, Italy and Switzerland  will compete in finals in beach soccer.
