'26 years without Khojaly' play performed by UNEC students

The victims of Khojaly genocide were commemorated in UNEC today, the university said in a statement.

The head of Executive Power of Sabail District Eldar Azizov, the head of Executive Power of Shusha Region, the head of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorny Karabakh Bayram Safarov, the colonel Abdulla Qurbani, the rector of UNEC, professor Adalat Muradov, the academic-teaching staff of the university and the students participated in the commemoration ceremony.

As part of the event, the participants visited the monument tree over-topped to the memory of the victims of Khojaly genocide, the monument tree with the leaves carved the names of the victims of Khojaly genocide on it, and got acquainted with the art gallery consisted of paintings of the UNEC students, Trend reported.

After commemorating the victims of the genocide with a minute of silence, the short film about the Khojaly tragedy was demonstrated.

In addition, the performance '26 years without Khojaly' was demonstrated by the members of the UNEC Creative Center.
