The 2nd World Games of Young Compatriots started in Sochi. It is reported that about 600 participants from 45 countries paraded on the square before the town hall ski resort 'Rosa Khutor’ during the opening ceremony.
The athletes from 45 countries arrived for the games. Under the terms of regulations the athletes' age should not exceed 15 years.
The World Games of Young compatriots include 3x3 basketball, table tennis, swimming and chess. The boys will also participate in the tournament on mini-football, and girls will play volleyball.
